Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department Films for CBS Show with Luke Bryan

Let’s hear it for one of our local police departments who will soon be on television with Luke Bryan!

What a surprise at the Luke Bryan show last night to see members of the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department on stage at SPAC lip syncing a performance.

The reason was to film a segment for an upcoming television special called “Lip Sync to the Rescue” to air on CBS in September. You may remember the #LipSyncChallenges that were trending a few months ago. First Responders all over the country were lip syncing to a bunch of different songs and sharing the videos on social media. CBS went off of that idea and with the help of host Cedric the Entertainer, will be having a competition for the best!

According to CBS, “fans can rally around their favorite videos when the first round of voting begins on CBS.com this month. Check out 30 clips from first responders tackling the Lip Sync challenge and then choose your favorite. Vote as often as you want!”

One of those segments was filmed last night with Luke Bryan and the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department! The show won’t be on until September 9th but make sure you vote for our local department so they can win!
