Two of my favorite things “All-you-can-eat” and “sushi,” and now there’s a restaurant in Saratoga that puts those words together and I can’t wait.
On 63 Putnam Street, which you may remember as Izumi, Doc’s Steakhouse and Graham’s in the past has now become Wasabi, all-you-can-eat sushi according to the Times Union. The unlimited options for lunch on weekdays are $14.99 and dinner is available Monday through Thursday for $21.99 and Friday through Saturday for $23.99.
They have multiple menus which you can find on their website which includes their all-you-can-eat as well as their al la carte menu. As with other similar all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants, leftover sushi and rice will be charged at regular prices so order as you go and make sure you can eat what you order because uneaten sushi will be charged at least 50 cents per piece or more depending on what you ordered. Plus, no to-go. If you have all-you-can-eat but someone else at your table isn’t, then you can’t share.
For their menu, you can choose from sushi rolls, sashimis, stir-fried noodles, teriyaki, fried rice and more!
I didn’t see the name of the new restaurant.
It’s there, it’s called Wasabi 🙂
