Scotia Sweets Announces New Storefront

Arguably some of the best desserts in the Capital Region have been recently sold in local businesses but Scotia Sweets just announced that it will have a space all its own soon.

Take a look at my original post about Scotia Sweets here. Leigh Baker (yes, that’s her real last name) is originally from Wisconsin. Luckily, she moved to the Capital Region and during the pandemic started this business so we could access these delicious treats.

Baker announced on her Instagram over the weekend that she recently purchased the Skyport Diner on Freeman’s Bridge Rd (yes, she’s staying in Scotia). She wrote “It’s been a long time coming, and there’s still a long way to go, but I couldn’t be happier to announce that Scotia Sweets will have a storefront in the very near future. 🙌 Thanks to everyone who has helped create and fulfill this dream.”

Honestly, this couldn’t have happened to a nicer person. Baker is as sweet as her baked goods and personally, I’m so excited to see how her business grows from here!
