Have you ever heard that the best food is in the most hidden places? Well, Ya Ya’s House isn’t really hidden but it’s off the main State Street in Schenectady and really delicious!

If you want to see the delicious food that Ya Ya’s House has, make sure you take a look at their Facebook page to see their videos each day listing out the specials.

As they say on Facebook, “Ya Ya’s House brings the taste of Southern/Soul Comfort Food that reminds you of visits down south to Grandmother’s house. Warm family friendly atmosphere!”

The first time I had tasted Ya Ya’s House food was during a Downtown Schenectady Wing Walk. Their wing was the crispiest and most flavorful. It was a basic fried chicken wing but it stuck with me. When COVID first hit, this was the first place my boyfriend and I couldn’t wait to order from.

Take a look at their dinner menu below (no choice is wrong) and you and your family can have a delicious and filling local dinner. We ordered 1/4 breast and wing of fried chicken, with macaroni salad, collard greens, and it came with the most delicious sweet yams and cornbread I may have ever had. If you love southern food but are sleeping on Ya Ya’s House, wake up and order it!
