Ready to get out of your house? I was too! If you’re looking for a relatively easy walk through nature, take a look at Bozen Kill Preserve.
There are three different trails to choose from at the Bozen Kill Preserve in Altamont: the red trail, the white trail, and the blue trail.
The blue trail is the easiest. You walk across the field to the water and take the very quick and flat trail to look at the mini falls. The red and white trails meet so it’s very easy to go between both of them if you’d like.
The white to red trail is 2.6 miles out and back, according to AllTrails. Depending on your walking speed, if taking it easy, the trail should take around 2 hours. It’s pretty flat, easy to follow with great signage, and there are no steep points. If you’re looking for a great trail for your kids or dogs, definitely take the quick drive to the Bozen Kill Preserve.
It’s calming to be walking along the water. We also saw a bunch of animals like chipmunks and snakes. Great little trail.
