Empire “Skate” Plaza 2023

The tremendously popular Empire State Plaza Ice Rink in Albany will be open to the public throughout the 2023-2024 winter season.
Rentals are available whenever the rink is open and cost $5. A photo ID is required to rent skates.
Every Saturday is Hannaford Free Skate Rental Saturday courtesy of Hannaford Supermarkets. Amenities include 25 cent locker rentals and refreshments in the glass pavilion adjacent to the rink.
2023-2024 Regular Hours of Operation:
- Tuesday through Friday
- 12:00pm – 3:30pm
- 4:30pm – 8:00pm
- Saturday & Sunday
- 12:00pm – 2:00pm
- 3:00pm – 5:00pm
- 6:00pm – 8:00pm
The ice rink hours are subject to weather conditions.
