Grano, Schenectady

Are you the type of person to opens a menu at a restaurant and wants to try everything? Me too! Well, Grano has been doing a four-course meal that’ll give you everything you want.

I wrote about Grano back when it was announced that they were the new restaurant taking that space. If you remember, it was quite the whirlwind. Aperitivo Bistro closed and then it seemed like very shortly thereafter a new restaurant was announced for its space.

Grano, owned by Danny Petrosino, chef-owner of Osteria Danny in Saratoga and Armondo Cioccke, chef-owner of Armondo’s Villa Tuscan Grill in Rotterdam opened back in 2019 and has continued to serve some delicious homemade Italian food in Downtown Schenectady.

Each week, Grano is offering a four-course $25 meal. Each week, Grano announces on their Facebook the new menu for the week. The one thing that’s the same each week is that they always offer an appetizer, soup or salad course, a pasta course, and an entree. Though it’s not on the four-course menu, don’t skip out on dessert because the homemade chocolate peanut butter pie with an Oreo crust is just out of this world.
