Tacos and donuts? Bet you wouldn’t think of both of those things being sold from the same place, right? Wrong, check out Taquero in Saratoga.

According to their website, “Taquero is proudly serving tacos, rice bowls, salads and donuts in SaratogaSprings using only the freshest ingredients available.” That’s right, tacos and donuts. Taquero opened at the end of 2019 to become the late night spot for people out in Saratoga by three people who grew up in Saratoga.

Saratoga Living says, “Also front and center on Taquero’s menu is its choice selection of signature tacos. Melancon says one of his favorites is the Korean Pork tacos, with spicy kimchi and gochujang crema (a type of hot sauce). Other taco recipes include Barbacoa (barbecue tacos with queso fresco), Tinga de Pollo (shredded chicken with crema verde) and a Cauliflower taco for vegetarians.”

I stopped by to have some quick Fruity Pebbles donuts. The smell from their donuts are incredible. That’s mostly because the donuts are all made to order. They’re fresh, they’re warm, they’re not lasting very long – especially if you decided to share them with friends. They give you 6 small donuts with each order for $4.50. They also have cinnamon sugar, blueberry hibiscus, chocolate peanut butter cup, pineapple upside down cake, maple bacon (which is also incredibly delicious), mocha espresso, and orange chai-cicle.
