VIA Aquarium

I visited the VIA Aquarium back in 2017 so I was excited to revisit and see what changes they’ve made in the last couple of years. What was also different in 2023 was that I brought my seven-year-old cousin with me and seeing an aquarium through a kid’s eyes is a completely different experience.

It’s always interesting to look at animals and see how they interact with each other. They have animals from all over the world and some tanks are their own versions of “Where’s Waldo?”

Aside from some of the events that they host, they have interactive exhibits in the middle of the aquarium. You can feed the koi fish (who are constantly looking for food whenever someone walks by), pet the sting rays and take a closer look at some starfish.

The VIA Aquarium isn’t just a place for kids, it’s great for any age to explore and learn about what’s happening underneath the water. From lobsters to sharks, octopi and looking in a tank to find Nemo, there’s something for everyone. For a full summary, take a look at my video on my Instagram below.
