Looking to try some local beer with some incredible food options? Well, if you’re still looking then you haven’t been to Walt & Whitman yet.
Located in the old Saratogian building, the facility is broken up into two parts. Upstairs is the Walt Cafe with coffees, teas, and the can’t miss pop tarts. If you want a more solid meal and some delicious meal, then you want to head downstairs.
The most recent experience I had at Walt & Whitman was for the release of their Oktoberfest beer. Of course, with COVID regulations I had to order food as well and thank goodness I did. I ordered the most delicious crispy potatoes. I want you to imagine bigger than steak fries with caramelized onions and bacon. Not only did they smell amazing but they tasted great and paired so well with the Oktoberfest beer.
Oktoberfest beer doesn’t come around very often but I now know my first stop next season – it was delicious!
