The weather is getting colder faster and darker earlier, take in as much outdoor time as you can. This one is great for the kids, too!

Looking to get the kids out of the house? Take them over to 100 Acre Wood in Malta. It’s a small walking path that has a lot to offer.

You won’t fine Winnie the Pooh or his friends but you will find a pretty moderate two-mile walk in the middle of the Luther Forest Technology Campus. The campus is “a 1,414-acre tech campus that was specifically designed for semiconductor and nanotechnology manufacturing and other innovative technologies,” according to Saratoga.com.

Aside from a small area where you have to climb stairs, it’s accessible to anyone. It’s also open year-round which makes it perfect for snowshoeing or cross country skiing. There is parking at two of the three trailheads, Luther Forest Boulevard and Stonebreak Road Extension. The paths are very well marked and very well maintained.
