The Children’s Museum at Saratoga, Saratoga Springs

If you’re looking for something for your child to do to tire them out (we listen and we don’t judge) and have fun, you need to take a look at the great things The Children’s Museum at Saratoga in Saratoga Springs has to offer.

The Children’s Museum was founded in 1990 by community parents and educators. They’ve moved once or twice since it’s been established, but, as of 2021, have found their newest home in the Lincoln Baths building in Saratoga Spa State Park, and reopened in 2022. Find the full history and mission statement on the CMAS website.

This was my first time visiting the Children’s Museum, and it’s up for debate who had more fun – my little cousin or me (or my mom). The museum is designed for children 0-10 and their chaperones/caregivers. There are different areas for the younger children to hang out, but it’s one floor of big open space for children to run around, make friends and just be kids!
