Part of the American Roots & Branches Series
Ever since bursting on the music scene in 1972 with their eclectic mix of jazz, pop, swing and rock ‘n roll, The Manhattan Transfer has since continued to set the standard as one of the world’s greatest and most innovative vocal ensembles. Winners of ten Grammy Awards, with millions of records sold worldwide, the legendary quartet of singers – Janis Siegel, Alan Paul, Cheryl Bentyne and Trist Curless – perform with their band as they celebrate their 50th Anniversary on their farewell tour.
The concert will also feature a very special guest appearance by Manhattan Transfer founding member Laurel Massé, who toured and recorded with the group for seven years before launching her solo career as a world-renowned vocalist with a repertoire that encompasses jazz, folk, cabaret, and classical music.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see this legendary vocal ensemble on their final tour – and a reunion of their founding members!
