The Jayhawks‘ shimmering blend of folk, roots and bar band rock made them one of the most widely acclaimed artists to emerge from the alt-country scene of the ’80s. Led by singer/songwriter Gary Louris and with over a dozen albums to their credit, The Jayhawks continue to be one of Americana’s top bands on the scene to this day.
