NoGravity Theatre’s multidisciplinary performance From Hell to Paradise is inspired by the extraordinary mechanics of Renaissance and Baroque theatre where beauty, dream, marvel, illusion, and humor combine in an environment where bodies effortlessly move across different planes, seemingly floating, flying in a world where gravity no longer exists.

This performance is part of the “Dance in Albany” performance series, presented in collaboration with the UAlbany Performing Arts Center, offering a diverse mix, ranging from the work of iconic choreographers Bill T. Jones and Mark Morris, the return of tap legend Savion Glover, to explorations of African American movement from modern to hip-hop to street club by the Passion Fruit and Dayton Contemporary Dance Companies, to the athleticism of Monica Bill Barnes, along with opportunities to experience the artistry of Ellen Sinopoli in both January and May.
