Menands Food Truck Festival

The village is sponsoring the Summer Food Truck Festival, being held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on four Wednesdays, from July 13 to Aug. 3, at Ganser-Smith Memorial Park. Live music will be performed each week.
There will be eight trucks, according to the village’s clerk, Don Handerhan: Burger 21 (burgers), Buena Comida (Mexican street food/tacos), Bull and Basil (wood-fired pizza), Two for the Road (Italian-American), Grafoodi (grill items), Smith’s Smoke Shack and Kitchen (barbecue), Greta’s Gourmet (homemade ice cream sandwiches) and Mr. Ding-a-Ling (ice cream).
The music schedule: July 13, Six Mile Sundown; July 20, Big Radio; July 27, Rich Ortiz; Aug. 3, Big Radio.
The park is at 53 Menand Road.
