Lyle Lovett & Steve Earle
October 8 @ 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm
The Troy Savings Bank Music Hall is excited to announce Lyle Lovett and Steve Earle come to the Music Hall on Sunday, October 8th!
A singer, composer, and actor, Lyle Lovett has broadened the definition of American music in a career that spans 14 albums. Coupled with his gift for storytelling, the Texas-based musician fuses elements of country, swing, jazz, folk, gospel, and blues in a convention-defying manner that breaks down barriers.
Steve Earle is one of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters of his generation. A protege of legendary songwriters Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark, he quickly became a master storyteller in his own right, with his songs being recorded by Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Joan Baez, Emmylou Harris, The Pretenders, and countless others. 1986 saw the release of his record, Guitar Town, which shot to number one on the country charts and is now regarded as a classic of the Americana genre.
Tickets are on sale at 11 am, July 19th to Music Hall Members. Anyone can become a member and gain access to the pre-sale.
