Howlin’ at the Moon 2023

July 6 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The “Howlin’ at the Moon” Concert Series showcases local and regional music from a variety of genres including but not limited to bluegrass, Americana, folk, indie, and more. The concert series is hosted and presented by the Schenectady County Historical Society at the Mabee Farm Historic Site to provide an authentic musical experience for both audience and musicians. Music traditions are meant to be fluid and evolving — this concert series nurtures local and regional musical talent while providing opportunities for cross-pollination and to share musical ideas, all in a 1760 Dutch Barn that inspires and reminds us of our place within history.

Each month, head out to the Mabee Farm for a night of live music. The show begins at 7:00PM. Admission is $10 at the door. Refreshments available. Depending on conditions, concerts will be held in the Dutch barn or under the pavilion behind the George E. Franchere Education Center, both at 1100 Main St., Rotterdam Junction, NY 12150.
