In celebration of Juneteenth, business consulting firm Get Local 518 and owner of Johnnie’s On Broadway are coordinating a special kind of restaurant week to celebrate local Black-owned businesses.
Currently, they’re looking for restaurants to be a part of this restaurant week and those interested can fill out THIS FORM to secure your spot during 518 Black Restaurant Week. The kickoff event will be held June 17-18 at The Blake Annex in the Kenmore Building in Albany (tickets available here).
Participating restaurants will offer three courses for $35 during the week of June 19-25. “The first Annual 518 Black Restaurant Week (518BRW) intends to bring awareness to the various black-owned dining options in the Capital District.
