Boldly returning where he’s, actually, been before. William Shatner, Captain James T. Kirk is returning to Upstate New York this summer.
William Shatner will be returning to Upstate NY at the “Star Trek Original Series Set Tour” exhibit in Ticonderoga, N.Y., July 7-9, according to NYUp.
There are many packages available depending on how much you’re willing to spend on a Shatner experience. General admission is $70. “Admission includes one regular tour by our wonderful tour guides (NOT Mr. Shatner), the William Shatner Live on Stage Event, and enables the purchase of photographs and autographs.” General admission and an autograph are $190, general admission and a photograph are $230 and general admission with both is $350.
You can also purchase the VIP packages that include general admission and a chat with Mr. Shatner on the bridge (photo and autograph not included) for $499. They’re also offering an all-inclusive experience for $1500 with general admission, a photo, an autograph, a tour of the Enterprise with Mr. Shatner, a chat with Mr. Shatner on the bridge and William Shatner and James Cawley (owner) for dinner and entertainment.
Cawley is a Star Trek superfan and Ticonderoga native who built the set after inheriting blueprints and the sets are fully licensed by CBS. This is Mr. Shatner’s third visit to the set after visiting for the 90th birthday event and another visit in November 2022.
