If you’re looking for the lake vibe but a little less crazy than Lake George, locals know that the restaurants on Saratoga Lake have a great view. A local favorite, though, maybe a little different when the nicer weather hits.
Earlier this month, 550 Waterfront announced on their Facebook page that they would join forces with another local brand – Druthers.
550 Waterfront, starting mid-April according to the Times Union, will be known as 550 Waterfront by Druthers which seems to mark the first time that Druthers will merge with another brand instead of opening a new space all their own.
Druthers has signed a 10-year lease to run the business and won’t be focusing as much on their Druthers beer as their other locations. Chris Martell, the company’s CEO and co-founder said “They already have a great brand and reputation. We want to enhance that, not take away from it.”
Druthers fans may be surprised when they go to 550 Waterfront by Druthers expecting the same dishes they love at other locations. They haven’t released a ton of information about the new menu but they have let on that it will be 80% different from what you expect to see at Druthers.
