Coffee lovers, if you haven’t tried some of the local cafes then you’re missing out and there’s one in Scotia that has some delicious treats to go along with it.
Okay, so to start, I’m not a coffee person but luckily Storied Coffee also has a fantastic tea selection. For those of you who do enjoy coffee, Storied Coffee will be your new favorite cafe. Storied says that its emphasis is espresso-based specialty coffee beverages. The best part is that they also support local by proudly featuring coffees roasted by Kru Coffee in Saratoga Springs, NY, and a selection of loose-leaf teas from Short and Stout Tea Co. in Guilderland, NY. Also, don’t forget to leave without a Cider Belly Doughnut, too!
One thing they really do well is building the neighborhood feel. It’s like an upscale cafe look but everyone feels welcome. The people that work there are so kind and knowledgeable if you’re trying to decide what to get. Their food is delicious (menu here) and to be honest, their breakfast sandwich is honestly one of the best I’ve had in the area. It’s a great place to meet for a date, meet up with a friend, take your parents out for breakfast or just take yourself out for something delicious.
Their whole vibe is to use coffee to create a real human connection with someone and I think that their space does a great job at that, definitely better than the chains (nothing against them, if that’s your thing). If you want a completely different, more welcoming coffee experience, take a visit to Storied and join their community.
