The farmers’ market season may be coming to an end but when it starts to get warmer again, don’t forget some of the amazing seasonal farmers’ markets we have, like the Town of Niskayuna Farmers’ Market.
The Town of Niskayuna Farmers’ Market is open from the beginning of July through mid-October every Saturday 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Niskayuna Town Hall. This year was their fourth season.
This farmers’ market is one of the smaller markets in the area but that doesn’t mean that it’s lacking. There are a great number of vendors to choose from and there’s ample parking at Town Hall to take your time. As they mentioned on their website, “Many market favorites are back this year, from local farmers, and custom bakers (including gluten-free) to honey makers. Prepared and hot foods such as breakfast pizza, barbeque sandwiches, and take-home meals will also be featured—smoothies, too. A distiller will bring local spirits and crafters will offer candles, wreaths and more at the market.”
“We welcome everyone to shop our local farmers and vendors, enjoy the food and special activities, and connect with friends and neighbors,” said Niskayuna Town Supervisor Jaime Puccioni. “Parking is easy and the town green is spacious,” she continued. “Come start your weekend with us!”
