The downside, Jack’s Oyster House is closed. The upside, it’s not closed forever.
As the Times Union noticed, Jack’s “abruptly closed in recent days for what third-generation owner Brad Rosenstein describes as extended renovations and needed repairs” and their website says that they’re “Temporarily Closed For Renovations.”
Luckily, as far as they can tell, it’s not going to be forever. News10 ABC reported that they’re hoping to be reopened by January for their 110th anniversary.
It seems like behind the scenes, owners and managers have been changing and leaving and since COVID, the restaurant’s schedule wasn’t very dependable. I can’t wait to see how they enter their 110th anniversary on January 24th and what renovations we’ll see.
