You may have already heard that HBO will be back in town June – August to film the second season of The Gilded Age. If you were hoping to make an appearance, you’re not too late!
Film Schenectady has announced on Facebook that the casting for HBO’s The Gilded Age will be holding an open casting call in Latham for the second season of the popular show.
Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking Albany & Rensselaer County locals to play 1880s African American church-goers and pedestrians as paid extras. They will be filming in Albany, Cohoes, and Troy on August 1-6, August 19, and August 23-24.
The open call will be Saturday, July 16 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at 3 Lear Jet Lane, Suite 101, Latham. Or, submit an email to gildedage@gwcnyc.com with the subject line “ACT Local” and include your name, phone number, if you are a member of SAG-AFTRA in good standing or not, height, weight, clothing and shoe sizes, and current photos.
Everyone must attend a costume fitting and mandatory COVID testing prior to filming. Women will be fit in corsets. “Natural” hair colors only. No shaved heads, braids, locs, or extensions.
