You love Lionheart Pub in Downtown Albany and soon, you’ll be able to enjoy their vibe in a new location because they’re coming to the Warehouse District.
Jerry Aumand, the longtime owner of Lionheart Pub in Albany, has been pursuing the project for more than a year and according to Albany Business Review, Lionheart on the Green is in the works.
Renovations have already started at 952 Broadway, which used to be a CrossFit Building, where they will be utilizing the industrial aesthetics and garage doors into an indoor/outdoor bar with a large patio.
Aumand and his nephew/business partner John Kivelin bought the property in March 2021 but approvals took longer than they expected. They’re hoping to complete this 12-month project in six months and aiming for a fall grand opening but depending on the process, could be delayed until spring 2023.
