It seemed to close out of nowhere in its spot on Route 9 with no word on what to expect. Now, we have official word that they’re reopening, but this time in Troy.

The Venezuelan restaurant Oh Corn! Arepas and More will finally be reopening, but this time moving to Troy from the Clifton Park/Halfmoon area.

“We are excited to present our new place in Troy, and after some renovations, we hope to be ready to serve our delicious arepas and cachapas by midsummer,” said owners Belkis Castro and Jose Theoktisto.

The couple opened their first restaurant in 2016 and, according to the Albany Business Review, they closed their last location in October when their lease expired. Their new location used to be the home of River Street Cafe. You’ll find them among good Troy company with Brown’s Brewing and Ryan’s Wake.

The menu may change a little bit with the new location but fans of the last location will not be disappointed.
