One thing you can’t deny is a Harry Potter fan’s love for the franchise. Well, my fellow wizards, there’s a Wizard Fest coming to New York that you should put on your calendars.
Okay, so it’s not coming to the Capital Region but who doesn’t want to take a trip to go to a Wizard Fest? New York Upstate is reporting that Wizard Fest is Saturday, July 30 under the outdoor pavilion at Sharkey’s Event Center in Liverpool, N.Y.; gates open at 6 p.m.
Wizard Fest will feature a live DJ, dance party, Harry Potter trivia, a cosplay contest, themed beverages, and a Quidditch & Triwizard Tournament. You also have the option of a custom wand, Wizard Fest t-shirt, Wizard Cup, bracelet and socks in your choice of Hogwarts-themed house colors (scarlet and gold; blue and bronze; green and silver; or yellow and black) with the VIP package.
