I don’t hide the fact that I look forward to this event every year and was crushed when it was canceled due to COVID. Now, after some time to regroup, the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival is back for 2022 and it’s better than ever!
The Adirondack Wine & Food Festival is an incredible event to celebrate local wines and food locally. To start, they will feature around 25 different wineries for you to taste. Walk around with your provided glass, find your favorite, and restock your wine cabinet! On top of that, they will also feature around 40 meaderies, breweries, cideries, and distilleries. All for you to taste to find your new favorite!
Not a drinker? No worries! There will also be non-alcoholic drink options along with about 12 food trucks and about 20 artisan food and beverage vendors (see the full list HERE).
While you’re there, don’t miss out on the Culinary and Cocktail tent which will be presenting cooking and cocktail demonstrations performed by Executive Chef Eric Hudson, Mixaritas Mobile Bartending Service, and other special guests! The chefs and mixologists will utilize products from the festival vendors in their recipes. In addition to the demonstrations, the chefs and mixologists will compete in an ‘Iron Chef’ style competition where the judges will put their taste buds to the ultimate test to choose a winner (learn more about the Culinary Tent HERE)!
The Adirondack Wine & Food Festival will be Charles R. Wood Festival Commons (17 West Brook Road, Lake George, NY 12845) on Saturday, June 25 (11 am- 6 pm) and Sunday, June 26 (11 am – 5 pm). With admission, attendees receive a commemorative wine glass to be used throughout the event to sample craft beverages as well as the ability to utilize the Drop-Off / Pick-Up tent on the festival grounds so you don’t have to worry about carrying your purchases throughout the experience.
