If you’re looking for something to do on the weekends, something to do when friends come into town, or something to do when you realize Mother’s Day is like a month away (yup, you’re welcome), take a look at Taste of Troy Food Tours LLC.

If you’re looking for my previous coverage and personal experience of Taste of Troy Food Tours, you can find it on my website here.

Taste of Troy Food Tours LLC is delighted to announce the return of its two flagship food tours in Albany and Troy for the 2022 season, starting April 29th. It’s a great experience to get outside and try some great food locally while learning a bit of history.

The tour offerings for the 2022 season:
◼ Season four of the successful Historic Downtown Albany Food Tours on most Fridays,
12:30-3:30 p.m., last weekend in April – October;
◼ Season six of the highly popular Central Troy Historic District Food Tours on Saturdays,
10 a.m.-1 p.m., last weekend in April – October.

“Each of our tours will have a new taste vendor partner this season. Our food tours tell
Albany and Troy’s stories delectably. Whether it is to offer a unique, rooftop view of Albany or some
‘Gilded Age’ insights, there are new things for all tour guests this season,” said Amy Koren-Roth,
owner of Taste of Troy Food Tours LLC.

The Historic Downtown Albany Food Tour features tastes from five independent
Albany restaurants: • C.H. Evans Brewing Company at the Albany Pump Station • Banh Mi 47 • The
Hollow Bar & Kitchen • Cider Belly Doughnuts • DeFazio’s Pizzeria Albany.

The Central Troy Historic District Food Tour has been reworked extensively due to the
pandemic and now partners with • DeFazio’s Pizzeria • Sunhee’s Farm and Kitchen • La Capital
Tacos • Troy Waterfront Farmer’s Market (Maynard Farms and Parchment Baking Company) •
Brown’s Brewing Company. The tour ends in time for guests to further explore and shop the Troy
market.

Tour guests must show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID test less than 72
hours old prior to the tour date. New York residents are encouraged to download the
Excelsior Pass app for this step; Guests are asked to bring a mask with them to use as needed or required; Food items will be individually plated wherever possible, and guests are asked to bring
their own bottles of water.

Each tour takes about three hours and tour space is limited to 10 guests. Tours are rain or shine and private tours are available.
