A Maryland bagel shop is looking to add a new location in Cohoes and they’re hosting a week-long pop-up to give the area a try!
Bottoms Up Bagels has their eye on Cohoes for a new location and, according to News10, they’ll be hosting a pop-up November 17-21. They will be open daily 7 a.m.-1:30 p.m. or until they run out of bagels.
Bottoms Up Bagels describes themselves on their website as a Baltimore-based small batch bagel shop preparing handmade, authentic NJ style bagels (yes, we boil them), house cured lox and specialty cream cheeses.”
Founders Joan Kanner & Michelle Bond founded Bottoms Up Bagels in 2015, 10 years after moving to the Baltimore area. They always look to create a sense of community with their bagels and hopefully will continue the same here if they decide to open permanently in Cohoes.
Owner and Co-Founder Michelle Bond said to News10 that she has spent time in the Hudson Valley and has visited the Capital Region. “Cohoes has been on our radar for a while, and we’re excited to have our first pop-up since COVID happening here. The sense of community and rich history is always something that’s drawn us here.”
The pop-up shop will be open at 289 Ontario Street, Cohoes. They will be utilizing the kitchen of nearby United Church of Cohoes.
