Bountiful Bread Opens in Schenectady

Another great location in Schenectady and another great location for Bountiful Bread – it’s finally open!

Bountiful Bread bakery and cafe has officially opened their space on lower State Street in Schenectady on Tuesday, June 22nd.

This is the second location of Bountiful Bread, after their Stuyvesant Plaza location which opened in 1997. This Schenectady space was ready to open late last year but, according to the Daily Gazette, they decided to wait for more restrictions to be lifted before opening.

Monday was a friends and family opening, followed by the soft opening on Tuesday and a grand opening has yet to be announced. “Like everyone else, it seems like we’re working hard to hire strong employees,” said Candice White, vice president of White Management Corporation, the family company that owns the brand.

For now, the hours are 8:00am-3:00pm, every day which they’re hoping will grow with the expansion of the workforce. You can expect a similar menu to the Stuyvesant Plaza location but with this space, they add Mill Artisan District Events for catering. White Management also owns the neighboring Annabel’s Pizza Co.. offering wood-fired pizza with a window directly inside Frog Alley Brewing.
