Got the Vaccine? Take Part in “Shot & a Beer”

Want a cool benefit from getting that vaccine (more than modern medicine)? Some local breweries are pairing up to give you a free beer if you can prove you got the COVID-19 vaccine.

The New York State Brewers Association has gotten together to create a new campaign called “Shot & a Beer.” Anyone 21 and older who can prove that they have received their first COVID-19 vaccine during the month of June will receive one free beer from participating locations.

There are a good number of breweries participating across the state, locally you’ll have to stop by Argyle Brewing Co in Cambridge, Chatham Brewing in Chatham, Fort Orange Brewing in Albany, or SingleCut North in Clifton Park. In the Hudson Valley, you can visit Plan Bee Farm Brewery or Sing Sing Kill Brewery. In the North Country, visit Big Slide Brewery or Lake Placid Pub & Brewery.

According to their terms and conditions, complimentary beer style is up to the brewery and complimentary beer size may range from 8-16oz.
