I remember the first time I saw the sign going up next to Best Fitness in Schenectady a few years ago and now, they’ve exploded all over the Capital Region!

As they say on their website, “The first of its kind to introduce all-in-one healthy eating under one roof. Day in and day out, Bowled strives to provide a relaxing and inviting atmosphere accompanied by the freshest tasting menu items on the market.” Now, that one roof is growing all over the country! You can find Bowled in Schenectady, Scotia, Malta, Troy, and Utica with their eyes on Latham, Delmar, and Charlotte, NC!

Bowled offers salads, açaí bowls, grain bowls, oatmeals, smoothies, and other delicious, healthy offerings. I was craving a salad, and I loved being able to create my own salad from all of its ingredients. It starts with a base price and then, you can add up to five ingredients for an added price, then you have the option to add a protein, and then a dressing. I got a mixed greens salad with avocado (added charge), assorted ingredients like goat cheese and pickled onions, and ahi tuna.

Everything I’ve ever had from their store has been fresh and delicious. Even when I’m not sure of what I may want, they have options to choose from, and the employees there are really knowledgeable of the ingredients and what would taste best. Whenever I feel like I haven’t been eating right or went off of the rails, I feel better restarting the week fresh with something from Bowled.
