We love to see new businesses making strides during such a difficult time and Albany, you’re getting a new local bagel place soon!
Pearl’s Bagels & Bakery, owned by Rachele and Kevin Feisthamel, has been working out of a home bakery and now, they’re moving to Albany. According to their Facebook page, “The truth is our scratch-made, hand-rolled bagels & bakery concept is a response to our Community’s need for more quality, local breakfast & lunch take-out options. We rolled up our sleeves, quite literally, and created our brand and product offering— all taste-tested by our neighbors, family, & friends.” The name comes from Rachele’s dog, Pearl, according to the Times Union.
The shop will be open for breakfast and lunch, take-out only. They’ll offer bagels, breakfast sandwiches, cookies, challah, and more! Pearl’s will have about 10 types of bagels, which they describe as “crispy on the outside, with soft white interior.”
