Do you love cookies as much as I do? Then, I have to introduce you to a local business making delicious cookies right from home.
Kat Tamburro may not have started out as a baker but bring on a pandemic, and thankfully now, we have Kat’s Cookies. As she describes on her website, “It was a dark and stormy night, much like the drink I was sipping. I stared helplessly out the window, pondering the true meaning of life.” Haven’t we all been there? Except, I didn’t develop a delicious cookie business as a result. Though she never dreamed of being a baker, the creativity was there.
You can order Kat’s Cookies on Friday-Sunday (or until sold out) and can either pick them up Wednesday and Thursday or have them delivered on Wednesday.
Based out of Clifton Park, Kat’s Cookies is currently registered through the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets and operates as an at-home bakery. The flavors of cookies vary depending on when you order them but these are the cookies I had in my box of goodies.
🍪Chocolate Chip: loaded with chocolate chips & sea salt
🍪 Last Whopper: malted chocolate base, milk chocolate chips, Robin egg whopper bits
🍪 Can’t Reesist: peanut butter base, milk & semi-sweet chocolate chips, stuffed with a Reese’s egg
🍪 Cadbury’d Treasure: brown sugar base, Cadbury mini eggs mixed in throughout, filled with caramel center
🍪 Pour Psalm Sugar on Me: raspberry sugar cookie, white chocolate chips, fruity pebbles, filled with lemon curd, topped with fruity pebble-infused icing
🍪 Peep Show: brown sugar cookie base, frosted animal crackers, white chocolate chips, stuffed with fluffernutter, and topped with a cotton candy peep
Each cookie was delicious in its own flavor profile. I was so curious after seeing some of the flavors that Kat put together but each of them were fantastic.
