Tulip Festival 2021 Will Be Virtual

The City of Albany isn’t quite ready to hold Tulip Festival again this year and therefore, there are restrictions when it comes to the flowers.

Mayor Kathy Sheehan and the City of Albany have announced that the Tulip Festival will be a virtual event for 2021 due to the coronavirus, according to CBS6.

Last year, due to the coronavirus, the Tulip Festival was reimagined to a virtual only event and this year, they’re continuing on with that format. Mayor Sheehan says, “Tulip Festival is going to be virtual. We’re going to be hosting reservation only tours of the tulips, people will be able to sign up online or make a phone call.”

The tulips will be in bloom in the next 3-4 weeks.
