Famous Elbo Room has been quietly working on a smaller Latham location opening next month.
The Elbo Room, located on Delaware Ave in Albany, is opening a second, smaller location in a strip mall in Latham near Fresh Market Plaza, according to the Times Union.
The restaurant itself has been open for 50 years but the current owner, William Roemer, has owned it for the last 17 years. Their plan is to open the Latham location in May. As the Times Union reported, “The location will provide The Elbo Room’s popular wings, pizza, wraps, salads and other bar fare for delivery/takeout only from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, until midnight Friday and Saturday, closed Sunday until football season.”
