COVID made them delay their opening and finally, we have word on when we can finally visit!
LEGOLAND NY announced that they were coming to Goshen over two years ago and then COVID happened and it’s future was unsure. Governor Cuomo announced at the beginning of February that amusement parks can open again started on April 9th. They’ll of course be at limited capacity, face masks required, temperature checks, social distancing, etc.
LEGOLAND NY still hasn’t announced the official date we can expect them to open but they have said that it will be in 2021. According to New York Upstate, they will be “the first theme park to open in the Northeast in more than four decades” People have commented on the official Facebook that they have gotten emails about setting up their annual passes so it’ll mostly likely be sooner rather than later.
It will be comprised of seven themed lands with 50 rides, shows and attractions with a 250-room LEGOLAND hotel on premises. This will be the biggest LEGOLAND location yet.
