COVID, man. It’s changing all of our plans. Do you find that you don’t even know what to expect anymore? Well, we recently got an update on what’s to come with this year’s St. Patrick’s Day parade.
This time last year we were just kicking off the year of COVID. We didn’t really know what was going to happen the rest of 2020 and none of us thought in 2021, we’d still be wearing masks. Last year, the parade had to be canceled since it was right at the beginning of the two-week lockdown. This year isn’t much different.
If you were mentally planning your spot on the streets of Albany to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a cold one with your friends, hold your plans to (hopefully) next year. According to Albany.com, the St. Patrick’s Day parade will be virtual this year.
There isn’t a ton of information about the parade yet this year. We do know that it will be on Saturday, March 13th. So, grab a local brew to celebrate from the comfort of your own home in your St. Patrick’s Day green comfy clothes. On the plus side, you’re closer to the bathroom and no lines. So, there’s that, anyway.
