10 McGillis Public House, Lake George

It may not be on the main stretch of Lake George Village but don’t write it off, take the quick walk to 10 McGillis Public House and enjoy a delicious meal.

Chef Jason Travis and his wife Nicole opened 10 McGillis Public House in October of 2019. As they say on their website, “Since then, our mission has been to provide high-quality food for all those that wish to combine fun and enjoyable ambiance with skillful cooking into one extraordinary dining experience.”

As with most places in Lake George, they have a great patio and the best part? A parking lot for patrons. Something that’s different about 10 McGillis is that they not only change their menus often but you can find all of the older menus on their website. “Our menu changes frequently to ensure that you get only the freshest and most delicious ingredients.”

I ordered a delicious strawberry and goat cheese salad. I was surprised that I hadn’t heard more about this restaurant based on how fresh the food was. 10 McGillis Public House is open year-round, and they offer seasonal outdoor seating, indoor dining, and takeout.
