Did you know that you could buy a piece of your childhood? The Catskill Game Farm has just been sold to new owners.
You may remember earlier this year, I took a tour of what the Catskill Game Farm is like today (VIDEO HERE). Little did I know, I could’ve been scouting for my next real estate investment.
According to New York Upstate, the Catskill Game Farm was for sale in April, all 200 acres and 100 buildings of it for about $2 million. “It comes with a boutique hotel with six bedrooms, four gorgeous glamping sites, a 14-stable horse barn, more than 100 buildings, 52 fenced areas, 3.5 mile of paved roadways, and much much more.”
The current owners bought it back in 2012 and just allowed self-guided tours through the space as well as reservations for glamping in the old giraffe house. They decided to sell it due to “a life-changing event in their personal life.”
Well, Hudson Valley 360 just announced that the Game Farm has officially been sold. No word yet on who the new owners are but “They intend on continuing with the same type of projects we were — camping, the inn, other accommodation type of things,” Cathy Ballone said Monday.
