You may have seen a 7-Eleven sign at a local convenience store and your eyes didn’t deceive you, they’re coming.

You will start seeing more 7-Eleven convenience stores in the area since they recently purchased Speedway as well as previously purchasing a number of Sunoco stores, according to the Times Union.

The Sunoco gas station at 1465 Washington Ave already has a 7-Eleven sign above the entrance. The nearest 7-Eleven is in Adams, Mass so this makes this station the first of its kind here in the Capital Region.

7-Eleven stores are based in Dallas, Texas and technically founded in 1927. Their biggest claim to fame is the Slurpees which we can probably assume will also be coming to the Capital Region with the acquisition.
