30 Park, Clifton Park

I never realized what delicious food I’m missing my mistakingly only thinking hotel restaurants are just for guests.

I had the great opportunity to try out 30 Park in Clifton Park, attached to the Hilton Garden Inn at Clifton Park Commons. It may be designed as a hotel restaurant but writing it off for that is quite a mistake.

My boyfriend and I got to 30 Park in time for Happy Hour to try some of their specials with dinner. We started with a delicious loaded tater tot nachos with bacon. Does anything go better with potatoes than bacon? I also got an avocado taco for an appetizer ($4). The avocado was cooked so well and I wish the serving size was a little bigger but for a happy hour snack, it was what I expected. They also offer Saratoga Chips ($3), Southwest Chicken Eggrolls ($8), and a turkey slider ($4). To drink, I got a Caramel Apple Margarita with local One with Life Tequila.

For dinner, that was the hard choice, the whole menu looked delicious. I ended up getting the clams casino appetizer as my dinner ($16) paired with Brussels Sprouts ($7), my favorite with bacon and parmesan. The sauce with the clams casino was fantastic. I was trying to figure out what I could do with it if I took it home with me. If allowed, I would have bathed in its deliciousness. The Brussels Sprouts was a good serving for an appetizer and they too were fantastic.

My boyfriend ordered a Lil’ Barton Burger ($12), with bacon aioli, cheddar jack, and provolone. He said it was one of the best burgers he’s ever had, cooked perfectly. For dessert, we got s’more waffles ($16). That was a graham cracker waffle, with melted chocolate, and melted marshmallow that we ended up taking home with us. It tasted just as good the next day!
