Is your doggy looking for new friends during the coronavirus? Saratoga is soon opening it’s new neighborhood social club just for your dog!
Chow Bella will be located at 50 West Ave and will offer a retail store “with pet food and treats, grooming, self-washing stations, training services, a cafe, and a climate-controlled indoor dog park,” according to the Saratogian.
The goal is for Chow Bella to be a dog owner’s one-stop-shop. The building is 7500 square feet with 3000 of that will be dedicated to the dog park. The park’s capacity has a maximum of 15 or 20 dogs at a time and a separate space for puppies and small dogs.
In order to participate in the indoor dog park, all dogs must be vetted to make sure they’re up on shots and will play well with the other dogs.
Owners must stay with their dogs and can purchase monthly or annual memberships to the park.
The facility will also offer dog training, grooming and washing stations, as well as the retail boutique. Ideally, the owner hopes that you look at Chow Bella as a safe space for pets in the Saratoga area, especially with the winter months coming.
Though the space is planning on opening before September 1st, the grand opening isn’t scheduled until September. Everything will open, except for the cafe area for humans which you should expect by next spring
