Amazon Show Scouting Downtown Schenectady for Filming

Looks like we may be able to see the Electric City on Amazon with an upcoming season of one of their newest shows.

According to sources who work in downtown businesses, the producers of the television show “Modern Love” are scouting today for filming for the next season of their show on Amazon, asking about locations.

Wikipedia describes the show as “An American romantic comedy anthology web television series, based on the weekly column published by The New York Times, that premiered on Amazon Video on October 18, 2019″

Haven’t watched the show? Well, if all goes the way it’s looking, you may have to catch up on season one so you can be ready for when Schenectady businesses are shown. Current stars of the show (and celebrities who may appear in the Capital Region with filming) are Anne Hathaway, Tina Fey, Andy Garcia, Dev Patel, Ed Sheeran, and more!

It seems as if each episode is a love-centered dilemma with different appearing stars so who knows who would be in our episode (or episodes) in the future. So far we know Jesse Eisenberg (of “The Social Network” fame) has been cast in the second season.
