Want to win yourself a dozen donuts and $20 to Birch Bark Eatery in Glens Falls? Here’s how!

I had the opportunity to check out Birch Bark Eatery Vegan Delicatessen in Glens Falls last week. Though I’m not vegan, I appreciate vegan food and love expanding the kinds of foods I eat.

According to their website, owner Tania Sharlow originally opened in 2018. “Lacking a variety of satisfactory meat substitutes, she decided to make her own.” They’re best known for their seitan which is included in a number of dishes, namely their signature Reuben.

After seeing pictures on Instagram, I had to try their Buffalo Mac & Cheese which is fantastic. There is no way that if you didn’t know ahead of time that you could guess that it’s vegan. It’s got spicy Buffalo sauce with a bit of a kick, seasoned mac and chzzz, chicken bits and tenders on top. This was by far some of the best Buffalo mac & cheese I’ve ever had (and it’s VEGAN!).

Now, Birch Bark Eatery is focusing on their donuts and now, rebranding as a donut diner, according to the Post Star. I went through their donut options and took a bite of each of them! Made with coconut milk and oil (still vegan), they offer flavors from “filled donuts like Boston Cream, Cookie Butter and Peanut Butter Chocolate to novelties like Cinnamon Crunch and Lavender Lemonade. And of course classics such as Maple Glazed and Strawberry Frosted.” AND YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO TRY THEM FOR YOURSELF!
