When the local cinemas will be reopening, we’ll have to wear masks to the theatres.
We’re all waiting for life to get back to some kind of normal. We want to be able to do the things we’re used to doing and not have to be stuck in our houses. The only difference is that we’ll probably have to start doing all of those things with a mask.
AMC Theaters and Regal Cinemas have announced that they both will be required masks in their theaters, according to the Times Union and CBS 6.
First, AMC Theaters were going to let local governments decide on mask-wearing regulations but after backlash, changed their opinion. “AMC Theaters CEO Adam Aron said Friday that its theaters will require patrons to wear masks upon reopening, which will begin in mid-July. Customers who don’t wear masks won’t be admitted or allowed to stay.”
Regal Cinemas, which we have in Crossgates Mall, Colonie Center, and Clifton Park, will also require masks inside of the theaters.
