You may remember that two years ago, Lake Local had a terrible fire.. Well, it’s got a different name and it’s reopened.

According to Saratoga Living, The Lake Local, a restaurant destroyed by a fire in the spring of 2018, just reopened as 550 Waterfront at 550 Union Avenue.

“The redesigned restaurant will feature 7,000 square feet of indoor space in addition to a sprawling patio leading down to the lake’s edge. An attached marina features 110 boat slips and two docks where lake-goers can pick up food to bring out on the water.”

The restaurant is currently not taking reservations and only seating at a first-come, first-serve basis. They specialize in seafood like steamer buckets, fish fry sandwiches, and lobsters in the rough.
