With the warmer temperatures we’ve been having, who else is excited to hear that we have Million Dollar Beach back?

The temperatures have been getting warmer but we’ve been stuck inside due to COVID-19. Now that, thankfully, the numbers have been going down, more opportunities are opening to us. One of those is a Capital Region favorite, Million Dollar Beach.

Amanda Metzger, marketing director with the Lake George Chamber of Commerce, said the opening of the beach will boost the local economy that is in the midst of reopening, according to the Times Union.

Million Dollar Beach will be open from 10:00am – 6:00pm each day. Capacity is still at 50% meaning only 500 people. Parking by the beach costs $10 per car, $5 for motorcycle, and $50 for a bus. Parking for senior citizens is free.
